Rewards for Valor and Heroism!

Through incredibly precise chrono-spatial navigation I, Nicholas Langdon Armburster, was able to procure these excellent examples of valorous commendations from the ravages of the Aether Storms. Woodrow Gideon Radcliffe, the Armory's chief researcher and Cryptozoologist, was able to identify each of these magnificent pieces (purchased by savvy collectors at both River Road Expo and Hero bot Con) by the following designations:

1.       The Iron Skull. Awarded to those who served in the campaigns against the Sky Pirates of Indonesia.

2.       The St. Louis Ironclad Star. Awarded for distinguished service in the defense of the St. Louis Arsenal.

3.       The Alchemist's Flower. Given to one who performed acts of heroism through the use of alchemy.

4.       The Distinguished Chrononaut Award. Given to those who survive any form of temporal travel, whether the future or the past and impact a significant improvement to the standing of the Queen's rule.

5.       The Illustrious Aeronautic Award commonly known as the 'Queen's Wings'. Awarded to those who perform heroically aboard any form of airship in the service of the Royal Air Force.

6.       The Star and Spike. An American military engineering medal, awarded to those who served heroically aboard a US military steamcraft.

7.       The Royal Winged Key. Given to members of the Queen's Guard who serve on the Queen's personal skyship the Winged Victory and performed acts of valor and great courage.

8.       The Blue Star Cross. Awarded for distinguished service in the United States Mechanized Airborne Cavalry.

The Saharan

These stylish copper and khaki goggles are a must for any serious desert traveler. The smoked lenses provide a soothing respite from the harsh glare of the sun, and the lengthy tail of the headstrap is perfect for displaying charms and souvenirs of your adventures. This one-of-a-kind piece is available to any world-traveling adventurer for the modest price of $50.00.

The Crimson Glory

This unique assemblage was commissioned by the U.S. Ordinance Corps. for use at the Sandy Hook Proving Grounds. These Crimson wrapped oculars have a custom-made chain mail head strap woven with alchemically-treated rubber to ensure a custom fit, and include an integrated targeting piece and static diffusers on the temples. This proof of concept was released back to the armory after the model was approved for production and is currently available for the price of $100.00.

New Materials!

In light of recent suggestions, comments, and the odd sale or lucky find, I'm happy to announce that we have a new selection of fabrics. We've added red (faux) suede, green (faux) suede, and White Denim. Copper (faux) suede, and Navy (faux) suede will be available soon. Through a generous donation we now have over a dozen available headstraps, and due to a burgeoning partnership with a semi-local maille artist we now have the option of a custom chain maille headstrap. The price for the chain maille will be available soon, as will photos.

In other news: Armburster Armories will be displaying at the River Road Expo, October 6th at Tioga Downs Casino - 2384 West River Road Nichols, NY. The event runs from 11 am to 6 pm. We hope to see you there!

The Lentis Hephaestus

These goggles are a must-have for a determined Engineer. Assembled from leather recovered from a Confederate trail derailment of arcane artifacts outside Alexandria Virginia, and brass fittings procured from the automaton servants of a Teutonic mad scientist, these spectacular spectacles are purpose built for dealing with the supernatural. These beautiful goggles are presently unclaimed and are being sold at the price of $50.00.

The Olivia

These beautiful goggles were created for Dame Charlotte Vivian Doyle.
These extraordinary eyepieces, known as The Olivia were crafted from the leather from Dame Charlottle's saddlebags and fine brass fittings. The specially smoked lenses were created specifically to assist Dame Charlotte in her aeronautical and motoring pursuits. The finest of goggles for the finest of Ladies.

The Red Eyes of the Morrigan

Commissioned by the Lady Esch of our nation's capital, Armburster Armories presents:

The Red Eyes of the Morrigan.
These goggles are trimmed with hammered silver, wrapped in black leather and accented by a strip of brocade (actually a strip of the sash worn by the assassin Kwannon the Wraith). As mentioned, these were a commission, fabricated to the specifications of The Lady Esch. We at the Armory thank her kindly for her patronage.

The Eyes of Morpheus

These cerulean-hued goggles were recovered from the last known base camp of the Brotherhood of the Apical Gear's lost expedition through the Amazon Delta. With a donated headstrap and fresh temple bolts, these battered brown goggles have been restored to prime condition.
The Eyes of Morpheus (modeled here by Dame Charlotte Vivian Columbine) are currently available for purchase. Price: $50.00

Our First Public Appearance!

Armburster Armories at the Mini Bot Art Party
Sitting unassumingly in the corner using a slap-dash table, Nicholas Langdon Armburster, the Master Fabricator himself (joined later by his lady love Dame Charlotte Vivian Columbine and his life-long friend Woodrow Gideon Radcliffe) spent the afternoon meeting the public, enjoying the company of great artistic talents, and (of course) fabricating a brand new pair of goggles. The name of these exalted eye-pieces, trimmed in copper chains and lensed with emerald green, is The Envy of Venus, purchased by the wonderful Miss Emily Swan!

Thanks to all who came out to the party, to Heroes Your Mom Threw Out Comic Shop, and to all of the immensely talented artists who made the event such a joy.
